LEV Business: Prospective Dealer Information
Becoming an LEV retailer/distributor generally requires a minimum purchase of any combination of scooters, bikes, kits, etc. If you're not ready to make the minimum purchase, let's talk.. If you want to offer Currie or LashOut products, we'll arrange an agreement that works for all of us. If you purchase at least 3 units, we offer prices only 10% over wholesale. Here's how it works: You place your order of 3 or more units with us, and we'll have them drop-shipped to you. After shipment, we'll charge you the wholesale rates plus shipping.

Product Shipping Spec and Order Policies (March 2005)
Opening Order: To become an ETS local dealer, an opening order requires a minimum purchase of any combination of scooters, bikes, golf carts and low speed vehicles. For current requirements, email distribute@electrictransport.net or call (914-844-4809). After your opening order, you may order in any quantitiy you choose. When ordering in quantities of six or more, you receive better pricing.
Territory: ETS will be more than willing to work with the dealer on any area of the country they might be interested in selling product. In order for a dealer to have an exclusive territory, they must be actively selling 50 units a year or more and stock all models available. The exclusive territory is the decision of ETS and subject to change at any time.
Credit: ETS does not offer credit terms. All orders must be prepaid by check, paiid upon ordering by credit card, or shipped C.O.D. incurring an addtional $10 UPS service charge. All major credit cards are accepted.
Shipping and Handling: All orders under 10 units are shipped UPS at a charge of $35 per unit. Orders over 10 units are shipped by truck if it will lower shipping charges.
Drop Shipping: After you have been established as a dealer, we are happy to drop ship any order of any quantitiy to anywhere you specify at no additional charge.
Warranty: All ETS products come with a warranty plans based on the product. Call or email for more details.

Opening Order: To become an EV Rider dealer, an opening order of six units must be placed and shpped at one time. After your opening order, you may order in any quantitiy you choose. When ordering in quantities of six or more, you receive better pricing. Container pricing for 200 pieces or more is also available and quoted on a per order basis.
Demo/Sample Order: If on your first order with us you wish to order a sample unit, you may do so providing you agree to pay a $100 service fee. This fee will be credited back to you on your first six-unit opening order.

Now that I think about it, I can't remember of EVER selling a PA bike or kit to someone under 25. hmmmmm.....

A light electric vehicle usually weighs less than 100 lbs, and usually has 2 or 3 wheels. Electric bicycles, electric tricycles, and small scooters – both the type you sit down on and the type that is ridden standing up – are all light electric vehicles.
Almost all stand up light electric scooters are purchased by USA consumers—with the majority of the buyers being the parents of boys ages 8-14. A significant number of small scooters are purchased by adults for recreation, or for short range or indoor transportation. These scooters are such fun that Japan, Germany, Italy, and South America are starting to buy significant numbers.
Sit down scooters are usually purchased by USA retirees. Usually the scooter is used for short distances, or as a mobility extender (not quite a wheel chair – but can help with painful hips and knees, or for a heavy person.) Since many versions are allowed on the street in some countries – these scooters are becoming popular in many countries around the world for short-range travel.
Electric Bicycles in Japan are usually purchased by middle-aged women. In the USA retired couples purchase them. In China adult commuters use them. In Europe mostly retirees, but some commuters.
